Each year HOPE International School seeks enthusiastic, caring professionals who are followers of Christ to serve in Cambodia. Our mission is important and we want Christian teachers who can wholeheartedly embrace our vision and follow the ethos and core values of HOPE.

At this time, the Cambodian Government requires all staff on campus to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

  • Candidates must have an understanding of Christian education, have the ability to integrate Biblical principles in their teaching and be willing to live out their Christian faith in and out of their classrooms.
  • Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be adept with technology and demonstrate flexibility in working in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Candidates must be willing to incorporate cooperative learning strategies and ESL-sensitive instruction.
  • Teachers are expected to have a Bachelor’s degree or higher and be certified to teach.

Please take time to read through the Frequently Asked Questions and HOPE Lifestyle Statement so that you better understand the school and ministry you’re applying to.

HOPE for me was such a big part of my life and even now I continue seeing how the experiences I had and relationships I made shaped who I am today! It was a very special community and I’ll never forget the mentoring from teachers who went above and beyond the call of duty as well as the deep relationships I built with my classmates that still carry on today. There certainly is something special about HOPE and I’ll keep coming back to visit whenever I can!

I definitely believe HOPE teachers are special – not only because they themselves are missionaries, called by God to Cambodia to serve the missionary community – but also because they love Jesus in radical, practical ways, which permeate into everything they do. I saw my teachers’ relationship with God in the way they taught, the way they asked me how I was doing, and the way they led early morning devotions, encouraging me to be a part of a generation that is unafraid of asking tough questions and pointing to the Truth. HOPE teachers, though each of them unique in their own way, all taught me so much about what it means to serve and love God and His people.

The word of God is integrated into every aspect of our curriculum. We are not just developing our kids mentally, emotionally & physically, but we are also turning them into spiritual champions. I also love the fact that we are like a family. We encourage each other, we build each other up, we pray for one another etc. It has truly been a great blessing being a part of this community.
